After breakfast proceed for the sight seeing tour of Delhi. At first, you will visit Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi) covering Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid (2nd largest mosque of India) and Humayun’s Tomb (all 3 monuments are UNESCO world heritage sites). Later in the 2nd half, visit Lutyen’s Delhi (New Delhi) and see India Gate, Parliament house, Bahai temple and drive by President’s house.
Take a flight to Raipur in the morning and then travel to Kawardha. Stay three nights at the elegant Kawardha Palace in the Maikal Hills, built in the 1930s. Kawardha is a small town in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. Maharaja Vishwaraj Singh, who lives in this remote location, recently opened his palace to tourists. It offers a refreshingly quiet, unspoiled comparison to India's major cities. Stay at your Palace hotel for the night.
Breakfast at the hotel. Walk through stunning landscapes while learning about the tribal people who rule this district's culture and traditions. Kawardha is known for Baiga tribe, who live in the surrounding forests. In the afternoon, take a tour of the Palace and the fascinating Bhoramdeo Temple complex.
Morning you will be transferred to Raipur airport to board an early afternoon flight to Bhubaneshwar, capital of Orissa. Stay 2 nights at your beautiful hotel. Afternoon is at leisure.
Explore the city's two sides: the garden city of the twentieth century and the picturesque temple township brimming with Orissan sculpture. Also included is a tour of the Lingaraj Temple (only visible from the outside), Rajrani, Mukteshwar, Parsurameshwar, and Brahmeshwar temples.
Morning drive towards Puri, en-route visiting Dhauli, Pipli and Konark Sun Temple. On arrival at Puri, check in and stay for 02 nights at your beautiful beach resort.
The small beach resort of Puri is one of the holiest places in India. Spend the day exploring the town, including a visit to impressive Jagannath Temple (non-Hindus are not allowed inside the temple premises).
Post breakfast checkout and you will be driven to Bhubneshwar to board a late afternoon flight to Kolkata. On arrival at Kolkata airport you will be assisted and transferred to your hotel to check in. Remaining time is at leisure till next morning.
Morning proceed for the sightseeing tour of Kolkata which includes your visit to Indian Museum, Victoria Memorial, Marble Palace and Town Hall. Later you may also make a visit to the Chinese shoe making area on Bentick Street and Calcutta’s legendary Sweet making institutions. In the evening you may stroll in the colourful markets i.e. Park Street & New Market. Stay overnight at your hotel.
At appropriate time you will be transferred to Kolkata airport for you onward journey back to your home destination. The tour ends here.
